If you read my last blog post, then you know I have been struggling with everything that is going on in the world right now. If you are reading this in the future and have no idea what I'm referring to or you didn't read my last blog post, you can catch up here.
I have a personal project that I have been working on for the last year, but I have been reluctant to share it because it's quite different from the happy families and kids and babies that I normally photograph. Sharing this also forces me to be a little more vulnerable than I'm comfortable with, and I do not like being uncomfortable. But since, like many of you, I am unable to work and am mostly confined to the house, I thought this would be as good a time as any to finally let down my guard and share this project. I think that you will find that the underlying theme is somewhat representative of what many of us are feeling as we go through this unprecedented time - together, but separate.
If these images resonate with you in any way, I would love to hear about it. Feel free to comment below or drop me an email: email@example.com
Pieces of Life
This series is one of self reflection - an artistic portrayal of significant events and changes in my life and how I have dealt with them. Because this project is personal to me, the meaning behind the individual images may not be apparent. I have chosen to let you, the viewer, interpret each one in your own way.
